About A Chaotic character

About this blog was the first time I tried to play an crazy roll which was a crazy alien who speak with out any logic and act chaotic. This scien is about a agent find out that was an alien get into his room and he thought that was some one who’s going to kill him, so he tried to communicate with that alien which end up filed. I was always trying to play some one who is serious, those characters was easy for me to play and understand. I will get in to a serious roll easily then other character. So this made me keep playing those serious roll until now. When I get this character I feel like I could never understand this character’s logic and why he say those things. I feel hard to get into this character and do such crazy things at the first, but soon I find out that I do not need to understand this character because this is not understandable for me. What I should do was just do what I think he will do, I could come up ideas with only the goal of chaotic. I could throw thing everywhere and that made people laugh. This is what this play about.

I feel like I could not play this roll very well although I get though it. I need to be more crazy and lunatic in the play which I did not show them to the audience. I need to work on my movement and how I do those chaotic thing nature. As an actor some times we have to play some roll that may not suit best for us, and we will always try something new while we developing our skills.This play was mean to make people laugh at the alien and the agent about what they do in the play. I would say that a crazy character was more simple then an serious character for audience to understand, when you do something crazy although that movement is not logic but as the acter I may be the only one who feels weird about the character. 

I only have feel words in this play which made me remember them very well. I only use moon pie and this one answer all the qusitons form the agent. So that makes me need to do many times movement then his. I tried to moving around, get everything out of the table, and kick his bag. Those movement may help the audience knew how chaotic this man is and why he just react like that. We spend most of the time to plan when should I do which movement and what more movement should I add on. Which made this play a lot interesting then the origin one. 

My prater also did a great job for remember all those lone lines although I only respond in two words. He also came up the idea that I should kick the bag which makes the play a lot funny.

Character study

My character in the scene is a crazy alien who is hardly to spoke human language. The age, family,education and status are all unknown. The only relationship with the agent is know as he did not want to hurt the agent. 

The back story is About an agent find that was a alien around him and trying to make communicate with the alien.

Something about my improvement in acting. 

I never thought that the end of the quarter was coming and I am already studying for acting for such long as a beginner. I was wish to prepare myself for the drama play sometime and I felt like I wish to work as a cruel member who will understand the play a little bit. I start to feel I love be a roll in the play since I played the hand which hold the knife. It was nice to feel involved in a play. 

I feel like I learned a lot form the acting which I did not know while I was a cruel member. I was start to learn the stage of a play and some knowledge which like always face the audience. Form those knowledge I understand that acting was not just pretend you are in the same Situation that the character in, but need a lot to let the audience believe you are in the same situation. Which was totally difficult to act a lot not normal act and feel normal and nature. I also learn that the mistake is unavoidable which should not influence the play and the act. The audience did not read the script which means that they will not know you did something that was not on the script but they will notice if you stopped. 

We did a lot of impervious during the class, when we did not have enough to time to prepare a full script. That skill was totally new to me, I always wanted to make plan before I start to do something and if I did something without the plan I will feel unsafe. But when we made mistakes or something going out of the order during the play, impervious was a important skill to have. I still remember during the second play of bone chiller the rope was once twine with the safe cable, we did a lot to untie that and that was took long. Andrew was shot at Jack about come and help, which give us a long time to untie he rope and the audience will never knew that something was went wrong here. 

After all this time I learn a lot about acting which was totally different then I expect when I was first came to this class. I still feel happy to involved into all this and although I am not ready for an actor yet but I believed that I will got to that point someday.  

When you try to murder someone for a cupcake

This is my first time try to make a silent movie, which I think is a big improvement for my acting skill although it can be better in many ways. When I first knew that I need to do a silent movie I feel like I could do better without the dialogue because I may not good get in the character while I was trying to remember my dialogue. I feel like we made up a good story which is short and funny. I feel like that a silent movie should not be two hour long and give all the setting about the character that once appear. John did a good job on this and we figer out how should we cat quickly. 

This is also the first time I play the bad guy in a project, the “hand with the dagger” was only as a tool in the bone chiller. I feel like I am interesting in play some one bad who wear a black suit and seem nice at the beganing of the whole play. That was interesting to see who was the killer and I assume that I could hide myself good enough form the audience eyes. I hope I would have more inprove when during this year. All of us did the role which most suitable for us and I think we all did a good job in the end although we did not have the time to write down all the movement that we should made in the movie and we did not set up our state carefully which makes me lied behind the table few times. I also forget that I should take the cupcake after I killed the host and before I jump out of the window. John fix that mistake by simply improvise which take the cupcake at the end just after he put his revolver in the host hand. I think this silent movie did make me a lot trust myself that I could be a good actor someday in the drama. 

I feel like the stage may need to reset and all the movement of different people should be pritece, but I still like my first silent movie when I watch it after. I feel like in this movie I am the bad guy who kill for a cupcake. Although this reason of killing some one was stupid and childish but it did made up a funny silent move which can make the audience notice the ID of every character. I also like that part which I sneak out form the “window” I was look like a bad guy in both movement and face expression. 

I like this silent movie we made as a goup work and I like my teammate of this silent movie, which was also my first silent movie. And I shall not forget how did we set all the movement and story. This silent movie makes me feel like an actor now. 

In class writing

I feel comfortable about the silent movie that we made. I feel like the movement and the music timing should be more precise. Honestly I made feel mistake during the part that I trying to kill John. Lots of those movement my move was fake to the audience. And I feel like we did a lot of action with out any prepare. I also like the silent movie that the other group, although I felt that was hard to understand at the beginning but they did explain everything in the final draft. 

Frankenstein

I watch the silent movie which called "Frankenstein" is a 1910 silent movie made by Edison Studios that was written and directed by J. Searle Dawley. This silent movie is about a man who discover the truth of a life and he want to creat something else alive. So he crate a monster which was seem like evil and made by science, the monster was act like a new born child but not a evil monster who want to destroy everything. Frankenstein crate this monster by his ambition and his knowledge about the understand of the truth of lives. He crate the evil which was once inside his mind, his heart and his soul. 

I like this movie because is one of the first silent that about the religion and about a man who want to achieve more knowledge that a person should have in the religion. Frankenstein was once the name of the a creation by the science which was once the sign of the evil side of human being who was spend too little time with their religion. What the scientist did was just like the Doc. Faust who give his life to the devil for more knowledge, he once have fifth about what he did but after all he find out that his creation was a monster. 

The Scientist was a character who was look like crazy and knowledgeable, he also want to find his love when he discover the mystery of life. He was also some one who did not want to stop, he tired his best to discover more knowledge that a person should know. He was always keeping writing and working on sience which was to high to others understand. So his accompany was abandon him alone, this action finally lead him to create a monster which was a new life but with out control. 

The movement of the scientist was quick and precise which was always show the emotion and the way that a scientist act and move. The setting in the room was three part which was the parlour the sanctum and the science lab and those are simple. The parlour was void and only have few chairs, the sanctum only have a desk and a chair, and the science lab has nothing but a big vat that use to crate Frankenstein. The scientist movement was different in those three area which shows different emotion with out put on too much script showing which will cut the whole play. I think we may need a lot of good movement that we can avoid the script as much as possible. And I assume that was easy for others to read. And another thing we should learn form this was the action should not like the same action we use in the daily life. The action we use in the life was simple because we could explain them to others when they did not understand, but we should work on the movement more then usual which would makes the audience easy to understand 

Plot

Detective leaves and there's a cupcake on the table so D grab it and as i'm about to eat it Jack stabs me and runs off with the cupcake, as i'm trying to crawl to the door John comes out and steps on me

Detective throws open the door and steps on the victim killing him

He examines the body confused, Photographer takes a picture of the body

Photographer is taking a bunch of pictures of random things while detective checks closets and cupboards

The murderer comes out and tries to kill the detective but misses because the detective bends down to open a bottom cupboard

Photographer tries to tell the detective but he shushes him and shows he’s working

After several incidents the murderer gives up and taps him on the shoulder and puts up his fists

While this was happening I tried to tell him again but I eventually gave up because he obviously wasn't listening so I sit back and watch the attempts to kill him

The murderer looks at me confused and I just shrug
